MCFC (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell)
MCFC is a hydrogen fuel cell that uses molten carbonate as electrolyte and operates at a high temperature of 600-800℃. Although nickel can be used as a catalyst instead of platinum catalysts used in other fuel cells due to faster electrochemical reactions at high temperatures, the corrosion resistance of molten carbonate is high, so durability and life are short.
